  2. I am a student of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College who are currently studying Diploma in Mass Communication. I am doing research for my Cultural and Religious Practice assignment. The purpose of the assignment is to understand the different culture in Malaysia. I have chosen Kadazandusun tribes as my research theme. Thus, I have a few questions to ask dear sir/miss/madam in order to complete my research. It would be really helpful if you can answer all the questions that I have typed out below.

    1. What Religions do the Kadazandusun tribes practice?
    2. According to our research, we have found out some of the Kadazandusun taboos and beliefs. Some of the Taboos include taboos they shouldn’t offend when a woman is pregnant, taboos when a woman is in their maternity period and also taboos during a funeral. Can you please name at least two taboos and reasons why they shouldn’t offend it for each category that we have mentioned above?
    3. Based on what we know, we have found out that Kadazandusun tribes have Momodunsai ritual, Mompisok ritual and also rituals in a wedding ceremony. Can you please further explain how the rituals are being conduct and also why is it being conduct?
    4. What other language do the Kadazandusun tribes use in these days and do they still use Kadazandusun language?
(If there are only a small amount of the tribes that are still using the language, can you please explain what causes the lack of using their mother tongue?)
    5. Can you please explain about the Kadazandusun language? (For example, how many alphabets and how a sentence is form in the Kadazandusun Language?)
    6. In traditional costumes aspect, we have found out that Sinuangga and Tapi are one of the elements in traditional costumes for Kadazandusun women while Gaung and Souva are the elements for male costumes. Can please elaborate on how the costumes is wore and is there any other accessories to collocate with the costumes?
    7. Is there any special meaning for the elements in the costumes? (For example, red represents bravery)
    8. Sumazau and Magunatip are well known for Kadazandusun traditional dance. Can you please explain how the dance is being conduct?
    9. When will the dance be conduct and why the dance is being conduct?
    10. For what purpose, does the dance being 1. What Religions do the Kadazandusun tribes practice?
